AFP-Louisiana is a grassroots organization that unites and empowers like-minded citizens across the state, educating them on important issues, encouraging effective strategy, and mobilizing them to generate positive electoral and legislative outcomes. By educating the people closest to the problem, we empower individuals to reach their full potential and shape their own destinies, creating a bottom-up effect that will influence legislators and drive meaningful, and transformational change in their communities. These capabilities uniquely position us as the leading organization driving bottom-up solutions in the state; we are putting the power back in the hands of the people of Louisiana and holding the government accountable for their overreach.

AFP-Louisiana is dedicated to empowering every Louisianan to revive la joie de vivre in the place we call home by restoring freedoms and economic opportunities for all. 

Our principles serve as the bedrock of our mission, which is to remove governmental barriers that hinder individuals’ pursuit of the American dream. We recognize that Louisiana has been falling short of these principles, contributing to decades of outmigration by those who deemed the American dream out of reach therefore making life more challenging for the residents of Louisiana. By restoring these principles, we aim to bring joy and prosperity back to Louisiana and reverse outmigration, thus spurring growth and development we haven’t seen in years. Ultimately, we believe that empowering all Louisianans will lead to a thriving environment where everyone can achieve their unique version of the American dream.
